Hungary is the industrially-agrarian country. The most developed industries: mechanical engineering (autostructure, manufacture of locomotives and shipbuilding), instrument making (communication facility, computer facilities, medical equipment), chemical, easy (textile and shoe) and the food-processing industry. The country is rich with minerals (bauxites, coal, natural gas). On extraction of bauxites Hungary takes 2 place in Europe. Deposits of manganese and iron ore are developed. The enterprises black and nonferrous metallurgy operate. The chemical industry specializes on release of various kinds of fertilizers, plastic, synthetic materials, medicines. The textile, sewing and shoe industry is developed. The enterprises of food branch are everywhere widespread. Under agricultural 75% of territory of the country are borrowed. Wheat, rye, corn, sugar beet, potato, sunflower, hemp, vegetables are grown up. Wine growing and gardening is widely spread. World popularity has wine. The animal industries specializes on cultivation of meat large horned livestock and pigs. Horse breeding is developed. The great value has cultivation of a bird (on consumption of fowl per capita Hungary takes 1 place in the Europe). Recently the big development was received with tourist business. Hungary exports production of mechanical engineering, other industrial goods, the foodstuffs and production of the food-processing industry, raw material, energy carriers and the electric power.
